Digital Voice Recorder...For an Activist in India

Who doesn't want a digital voice recorder? Hopefully the person you spent this benji and a half on. Because they ain't getting it. What they get is an email telling them that they've just sent a $150 digital voice recorder to Asia. It's at this point that they probably call their credit card company to report that their account has been compromised. Meanwhile, the digital voice recorder is sent to an activist in India, presumably so they can accurately recount the details of government issued ass-beating they should be receiving any minute now, the details of which would be lost forever if they weren't able to groggily mumble them into a high end digital voice recorder. What's that you say? They could just write them down? What kind of animal are you?!?!
