Tennessee Titans

I like the design. I'd like it better if the team were named the comets. What do comets have to do with titans? Eh. Who can account for the tastes of Tennesseeans.

Older helmets

The Titans were the Houston Oilers until 1999. Fans responded to news of the move by not showing up to the games. As thanks, the team moved a year early.

Founded in 1960 as the Houston Oilers in the AFL. Moved to Nashville, Tenn., in 1997 as the Tennessee Oilers. Renamed Tennessee Titans in 1999.
