Warhammer 40,000
Forge World's supplement for Games Workshop
by Dave McAwesomeSo here's the deal. I wrote up a bunch of pieces about some of the books, models and the history of all this nonsense. Some of them I tried to infuse with my own brand of humor and essence of lilac and raspberry oils. Others, I just got lazy with. Live with it.
The basics
- "Whoa," you say. "Dave, what are you going on about here?" For you, I suggest first reading my childhood confession.
- What's a 40K? Here's a quick introduction and orientation to the Warhammer 40K thing.
- The basic plot? Here's a very brief history of the chief threat to the Imperium.
- Who's doing what to whom? Check out a brief primer on the various aliens vying for control of the galaxy.
The books
More books will follow, but for now this is a look at Forge World's excellent Imperial Armour series.
- Imperial Armour: Volume One - Imperial Guard and Imperial Navy
- Imperial Armour: Volume Two - Space Marines and Sisters of Battle
- Imperial Armour: Volume Three - The Taros Campaign
- Imperial Armour: Volume Four - The Anphelion Project
For the official Games Workshop site, you should go to Games Workshop. Got it? Also check out the official Forge World site. They do kick ass stuff.
By the way, the material on this site does not in any way, shape or form intend to challenge or infringe on the rights holders of any of the characters and intellectual property. That should be pretty obvious, guy. All of the characters, brands and icons are trademarks of their respective parent companies. This site is a humor, satire and parody site, so just frickin relax.
