Dear Frank,
What's the best way to let down a guy who tries to pick you up? You know, someone who you have absolutely NO interest in whatsoever?

Quite Frankly: Assuming you don't want to play the "I have a boyfriend" card, or a little game of "I'm going to the bathroom, be back in a minute," I think a bit of polite honesty works just fine. If some Man-Beast tries to buy you a drink, hit him with a "No, thanks." If he's trying to take you back to his Troll Den, just tell him directly that you appreciate the offer but you're not interested. And if he won't take no for an answer, just walk away.
